Gaming Events and Conventions
Warhammer Night - Every Friday night from 4-9PM.
Table Sign-up:
This system are in effect to make sure everyone gets a chance to play!
Please sign up for a table slot. There are two slots: 4:00-6:15 and 6:30-8:45.
Any games that begin earlier than slot 1 must end by 3:45pm
You can sign up for a game at any time during the week.
You cannot sign up for more than one game a night, unless slot 2 is still open when it's scheduled to start.
There are 15 minutes at the end of each slot for clean-up!
We also have periodic tournaments for 40K and Fantasy. Check the the Events Calendar for dates.
We now have Warmachine IN STOCK and can take special orders! Looking for a specific model or unit for your Warmahordes? Just let us know!
The Dragon Board Game Pub
First and third Monday of every month starting at 7PM at the Penny Whistle Pub (2 Quebec Street, across from the Baker Street parking lot)
Please Note: that if you are going to be purchasing food we suggest arriving around 6:30PM so that the plates can be cleared before play begins. Be sure to check the Events Calendar for the Board Game Pub Schedule!
As response to a few questions we have had, this Pub night is both BYOGame and not, as there will always be a selection of games for players to choose from brought by The Dragon. If there is something in particular you would like to play then please bring it along! We usually play until around 11pm, but there is NO obligation to stay, players can leave at any time. Most players are in the range of mid to late 20s and up. We are playing in a pub, so we ask that players be age appropriate for the setting and follow the rules of the establishment. If you have any questions please feel free to email or call the store!
D&D Encounters- Every Wednesday night from 5:30-8PM
Come join us for drop in D&D Encounters! D&D Encounters is an in-store weekly mini-campaign played one encounter each Wednesday. Game play is always on a drop in basis with pre-gen characters available. Space is limited to the number of DMs available each week, so if you want to play be sure to be on time!
The Dragon Needs DMs!!
Do you have any 4th edition D&D experience? The Dragon runs D&D Encounters every Wednesday night and Living Forgotten Realms one Saturday a month and we can always use more DMs! We offer our DM volunteers store discounts when they run for us and all events are run through the Wizards of the Coast Play Network who also send out swag from time to time. All adventure materials are supplied by Wizards of the Coast and the Dragon, so all you need is your rule books and your knowledge!

Magic Nights- Casual Play Every Thursday night from 5-9PM. FNM Friday night 5:30-10PM
FRIDAY NIGHT MAGIC!! That's right! FNM is NOW being run by the Dragon thanks to the Red Papaya (the Thai restaurant in the mall). Check our the Events Calendar for details on all our Magic events.
Tournaments take place the first Saturday of every month and open gaming happens on Mondays at 2-6pm.

Check WizKids Games for details on each event. We have HeroClix usually 2 Sundays a month!

CONVENTIONS
This is our local gaming convention. Three days of all the gaming you can handle, including card games, miniature games, RPGs, and LARPing! It takes place at the University of Guelph campus March 2nd to 4th, 2012.
One day of Warhammer madness with events to satisfy everyone! There's a conversion contest, speed painting, a scavenger hunt, art competition, costume competition and much more, including the Grand Tournament, as well as the renowned painting competition, Golden Demon. The next Games Day is July 30th, 2011 in Chicago. Check the website for more detailed event info, and admission prices.
The 3-day FanExpo in August has something for everyone, including gamers! There are games events and dealers all weekend. The con runs August 23rd to 26th, 2012. Check the website for all the guests and details about their other conventions.
This con is a sci-fi and gaming convention with some truly interesting guests, including writers, artists, and game designers. There are lots of gaming events, including LARPing, role playing, and a Masquerade. The con runs April 13th to 15th, 2012. Check their website for more information.
