About The Store

We have been in business since September 1998, operating out of Guelph, Ontario and at many conventions and events around the province. We are perfectly happy to deal with customers out of town, and will ship any orders to you, no matter how big or small.

In July 2012, The Dragon received the Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailing Award!

Our staff are well equipped to handle any questions you may have. We all have years of experience to help you start or expand a hobby. Our qualifications make it easy for you to find what you're looking for, and if you're not sure what you are looking for, we can provide educated suggestions.

We have a wide range of distributors at our disposal, and so are able to provide a vast selection of products, at the best possible price. We will go to great lengths to obtain items you are looking for. If we don't have it now, chances are good that we know where to find it.

We are a Women Friendly store! Not only are most of our staff women, but we understand that women want a wide variety of books to choose from, ranging from indy to superhero titles. Our extensive stock is sure to contain just what you're looking for, or our well-read staff can help you find something new.

We are also Kid Friendly! We have designated shelves of graphic novels right at the front of the store for various age groups, from new readers to teens. Our knowledgeable staff can help you find the right type of book for your girl or boy based on reading level and interests. We also maintain a separate site, Comics in the Classroom, a resource for using comics in schools. There, you can find synopses of books for various age groups.
